The Building Project
At West Leigh Baptist Church, we want to serve God by serving our neighbours. We do that through
Parish Nursing, Foodbank, parents and babies groups, church services and more.
We’re currently planning a new building project to help us better meet the needs of our community. It will
include:
• safe indoor and outdoor areas for children and young people
• a big kitchen so we can cater for larger groups
• an accessible space for Parish Nursing
• a prayer room
The church family has been hard at work fundraising and giving generously to make the project a reality.
Southend City Council has approved the plans and we are hoping to appoint builders in the coming year.
