On the 1st September 2009 Cornerstone celebrated its 1st Anniversary.  Over the past year the shop has had a fantastic turnover due to the all the wonderful donations we have received, but most of all due to the hard work and support of all the volunteers.  In order to have such a good second year we urgently need more volunteers, whether it be serving in the shop or sorting out the back.  At the moment we are having to close at least one afternoon a week which is having a real affect on the profits.  If you think you might be interested in helping in the shop, either on a regular basis or as and when, please speak to Claire Walker.

Coffee Stop is also doing really well in Cornerstone, however we sometimes struggle to meet the demands of customers with the supply of cakes (especially sponge!).  If you are a keen baker and interested in joining the cake rota for the shop please contact Joanne Seely or Claire Walker.
